Tokyo Gore Police
 

Hello everyone. I have a website that I write for and we review horror movies. I wanted to review Tokyo Gore Police but I don't know much about it, only that it's gory. Is it a horror movie? IMDB has it listed as a horror movie but it also has Riki-Oh The Story of Ricky as horror and I don't think that movie qualifies. I'd appreciate help and I apologize if this is in the wrong forum. Thanks.

Depends on whose watching it ;). No, i would not consider it a horror movie, but you could fit it within that genre because there is loads of gore in it---along with Rikki-OH.

Toyko Gore Police is a lurid representation of Japanese anime-esqe live action movies. The kind of movie where somone gets their arm chopped off and a firehose of blood shoots out.

Though i do recall that they are fighting monsters/demons, the "Gore Police" are the task force against those monsters. It has been a while since ive seen the film
