Voted 80s just because I enjoyed my film viewing in preparation of the list more than the 90s. I wasn't here for the millenium list.

I think it would be a good idea to do a first half of the decade list after this year.

I voted Millennium because it's most representative of my tastes. Its inclusion of Hedwig and the Angry Inch also is what prompted me to finally see that movie, so it's responsible in part of exposing me to one of my current top ten favorites.

I feel like it's soon coming time to do another all time top 100 though. 2015 will mark 5 years since the last one.

Ugh. And that's all my fault.

90s is probably the best list even though the 00s is my favourite decade - too many of the great movies from that decade were left out.

The 80s has been by far the worst list even though it is, IMO, a better decade for movies than the 90s. Just so many bad movies made the top 100 - can't think of any actual "bad" movies that made the 90s or 00s lists.

I think maybe people have explored the two most recent decades more but for the 80s a lot of votes were for old favourites. That's fair enough but for me "old favourites" are seldom as good as we remember.

All just IMO of course.

The '80s list went shockingly well. There are a few upsets, but overall, it was a success with me. I think it's the best.

The Millenium list was great... and had a bunch of movies from my list... and a lot of good movies in general... but overall, the '80s list is better.

The '90s list is an autopsy gone horribly wrong. The psychological damage I've experienced from it... 9/11 was less tragic for me than that '90s list.

90s all the way. A lot of good and interesting movies made it. Show Me Love made it! Although I was disappointed Goodfellas was number 1. The 80s top 10 is shaping up to be better than the 90s top ten. The Millennium top 100 annoys me slightly because it's not actually a decade. Also I think if we did that list in a few years time it would look very different. But there are some good movie on there too.

I don't. It's too soon. A lot of movies from the first half of this decade won't even have come out on dvd. It's like your Oscar corrections thing. Blue is the Warmest Color didn't get many votes because it's not even out on dvd yet. Not everyone gets to see everything in the cinema.

Fair enough. I do tend to get overzealous when it comes to list making. I think I am addicted to it.

I want to vote for the 1970s list. Yes, I am aware we haven't complied one, yet.

I voted for 90s.

The list introduced me to many awesome movies, and my list for that decade was stronger than my millennium list and way stronger than my 80s list, in terms of how much I like the movies

80s... I've seen more of the films that made the Millennium and 90s I think, but I prefer 80s films overall. More imaginative. More modern films are rerun ideas from 80s and 70s films.

The 90s and Millennium lists got more than a few
and less from me as well, whereas the 80s list has had maybe only 6 films at
or less.

Edit Addition: I've seen 91/100 of the Millennium, and 91/100 of the 90s... the 80s I've seen 85/100... still prefer the 80s list though. As I said, the ones I've seen, on general got higher ratings from me.

Raul rushes into things too fast with threads like this, but I guess it's okay.

Wait until Rocky II beats Chinatown and then see how you feel about it.

90's by a mmmmmmiiiiiiiiiilllllllllleeeeeeee.

The 70's is the only decade that can challenge it and I'm really split between the two.

The millennium list is horrible, but then, so are many of the films of that decade. I wasn't even sure I was going to be able to construct a 25 and I certainly didn't love them all and some of the films on it I hadn't even seen more than once. I'd have never put a film on my 80's or 90's list which I'd only seen once and I won't be doing it for the 70's list either.

The 80's list is pretty much what I expected. There's a few that won't make it that I expected and a few that made it that I didn't, but, on the whole, it's what I expected, especially the top half.

It will be interesting, but the 70s list may be great. Right now, the 90s reigns supreme. While I appreciate some of the films on the millennium list there is a lot of garbage on it too.

The 80's may be my favorite decade as far as the quantity of movies I love, but as far as this forum's lists, I vote for the 90's. So many of my favorite movies are on that list; Goodfellas, Boogie Nights, American Beauty, Reservoir Dogs, Casino, Pulp Fiction, Unforgiven, American History X, Silence of the Lambs, Forrest Gump, Donnie Brascoe, Se7en, Good Will Hunting, Shawshank, Braveheart, Lebowski, etc. I do think the 70's list will be the best of the bunch; one masterpiece after another.
