Overall a very good film I thought. It was both entertaining and different for film. I can understand why people don't like it, but I think that they tend to miss the point of the film, or really can't see past the fact that they got motion sick.

Ending : I didn't mind that all the characters died at the end , but the part where the monster kills the cameraman (Rob's best friend).

I loved this movie, the special effects were awesome, J.J. Abrams did a GREAT job on covering up what this movie really was, I would go see it 1,2,3,4,5 or 6 more times.

To describe this film would be saying what everyone has been saying since its release. Cloverfield is Godzilla meets The Blair Witch Project.

Though the characters are a bit too pretty to qualify as genuinely realistic, the opening scenes do just enough to draw you in before the film's massive antagonist so rudely interrupts.
