To a certain extent social media has somewhat killed the internet forum, also you’d be competing in a marketplace full of established film forums that already have a huge user base and a huge amount of discussions like Movie Chat or Film Boards or Movie Forums or IMDB2.0 ETC
Your new forum won’t have many users or discussions, and there’s a high chance it won’t really grow over time either because people looking to join a forum wont bother with a forum that doesn’t have lots of users and discussions when they can join one that does.
