OK, this is an American film, in colour, possibly from the 70's.
All I can remember is the ending, whereby the main actor has 'tricked' some other men onto his submersible... At the bottom of the sea, he navigates to a crashed plane (looks like a Douglas DC-6, but I am no expert on planes!).
The plane is covered in mank and clearly visible in the cockpit is a skeleton!
The main actor explains "that is my wife & somewhere in the back is my 5(?) year old son".
The men he has tricked are all suspects, one of whom caused the crash of the plane and hence the death of his wife and son. To force a confession, he removes the air from the submersible and they all start to suffocate..
Anyone have any clue as to the title of this film please!
