It's not...sorry.
Really? That terrible catwoman costume is on the list but not the iconic one? Interesting. What is it you like about the newer one?

People hated the movie, but the costumes were gorgeous...and I loved the fact that there was as much detail put into De Niro's clothes as there was in Minnelli's, they both looked incredible.

I think it does one thing that a good costume should do and that is be flattering to the actor's body and to me, it was.

Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

Taylor was so striking in this toga-like dress...as I've mentioned many times on these boards, I don't think Elizabeth Taylor has ever looked more beautiful onscreen than she did in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

Ah, OK. I disagree completely. I think it looked ridiculous and she looked terrible in it.

Trouble with a capitial 'T'

Liz looks great there. I would like to have seen the dress with a full petticoat under it. But that wouldn't have really fit her character.

Summer Stock

Next to the blue gingham dress in The Wizard of Oz, this is probably Judy Garland's most memorable movie costume...Judy was newly trim when "Get Happy" was shot, having recently dropped 20 pounds and has rarely looked better.
Damn she looks so hot

Angus Strathie and Catherine Martin, Moulin Rouge

Baz Luhrman is a director all about the visual and what is pleasing to the eye and his choice of costume concept and design is no exception.

Mary Zophres, Catch Me if you Can

The costumes were just a part of the all over incredible visuals this movie provides.

I don't really like Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, but it does look fantastic. The sets as well as the costumes.

I really like Catch Me If You Can and, for some reason, have always liked the look of the film.

Trouble with a capitial 'T'
I just now requested Catch Me if You Can andDown with Love. I had never heard of them until seeing Gideon's thread, thanks for posting them.
