Usually, I never rate animation of any kind but Pixar is on an entirely different level. As with Pixar’s best, this movie operates on a level higher than any other animated cartoon. It delivers a wonderful story and involves issues that are complex and emotional. Yes, it’s visually appealing but the superb writing and character dynamics are what makes it truly entertaining and one of the best movies of the year. Each character has appeal to younger audiences but it’s the emotional resonance and headiness that allows audiences of all ages to enjoy almost every aspect of the film.
