Requiem for a Dream or The Basketball Diaries?

Both movies are quite similar to each other. They both show what affect drugs can have on people's lives. I was just wondering which one out of the two you prefer and why.

Requiem for a Dream, because it's a much better film. The Basketball Diaries just isn't very good, and isn't made very well.

I don't like either one, but if I had to choose I'd rather rewatch The Basketball Diaries. At least I like DiCaprio, though it also has Marky Mark and that's a huge negative.

I liked Requiem for a Dream better. All the drugs I did made me forget why.

I actually like both but I voted for Requiem for a Dream. I liked Basketball Diaries much more when I was younger. I might have voted differently 10 years ago.

I voted for Requiem for a Dream. It's the better movie all around. I do have a fondness for Basketball Diaries even though it has a lot of problems.

I do wish someone would do a really good movie about Jim Carroll.

I love both movies, but REQUIEM FOR A DREAM is definitely the better of the two films.
