That was a standalone TV movie (Prescription: Murder). In hindsight it is sometimes referred to as a pilot but I believe at the time it was a one-of TV movie. The series started in 1971 and I listed it in the previous topic.

It's a fascinating watch, Peter Falk's first outing as Columbo. He's not disheveled (so much) and you see a character in its infancy.
