AL Central is quite intriguing...pulling for the Royals to hold on at least

And that's because of how God awful the White Sox are
They've literally kept 3 teams in contention by how many losses they have.

Mets and braves next two games moving to a Monday double header in response to the hurricane Helene. Those actually matter currently.

The White Sox lost 120 games. That's not easy to do

It's not over yet. Even the A's owner wrote a letter. And got yelled at.

Looks like the Royals and (miraculously) the Tigers will make it. White Sox playing their best baseball of the year now haha

They head to Atlanta (who are also fighting for that last spot) to finish up with 3 games left, Detroit gets to host the White Sox for the final 3. Can't script this stuff.

That doubleheader Monday will be interesting if the Mets cant beat the Brewers like last night.

Diamondbacks cant win now either

They can get in with a sweep by either team tomorrow. On the flip side whoever wins the first game tomorrow gets in automatically. I'm guessing the strategy is just to not lose both games and be left out.

Yeah, the winner of the first game is heavily incentivized to sit some guys in the second. That said...it's still baseball. Significantly inferior teams are never worse than, like, 20-30% to win a given game, so even if the Braves are facing a bunch of backups (and it turns out they're not, at least not entirely), they could easily lose.

Pete Rose has died....
