It's interesting to see the split in the assessment. At most, I thought the debate would be whether it is a B+ movie vs. an A+ movie.
I have it at a 9/10. While it's a technical marvel (there's been some pushback against long takes for some years, but I'm still a sucker for them), I think there's a ton of subtle heartbreak in there which keeps me coming back to it.



This scene, for instance, never ceases to devastate me. I didn't notice it throughout my first couple viewings, but it actually occurs inside an abandoned elementary school. It doesn't specifically mention the school in the scene, but it's a sobering reminder on the state of the world and how the few reminders of youth are decaying amidst a world slowly tearing itself apart.
