Has everyone forgotten how terrible Brando was in that movie?
I thought he was great!

Gotta agree to disagree with you there.. maybe it has something to do with the fact that I've done the show myself three times, pretty much have it memorized and have seen it done properly, but Brando was terrible.

Well then we're looking at the same performance from different perspectives. From my perspective, it's always a thrill to revisit Brando's 50s heyday, when he was probably the hottest young actor in the world. And it's especially thrilling to see him doing a musical, because in all honesty, it's not what he was known for.

From your perspective, it is bound to look different.

Trouble with a capital "T"
If they cast Jackman, he'd be twice as old as Brando was when he played Sky Masterson
Good point, I was thinking of a younger Jackman. So who would you say would be good for Sky?

Not me, I rewatched Guys and Dolls recently and Brando was bland especially in the romance segments.

No argument that he was the biggest Star on the planet at time but it doesn’t change the fact that he was terrible in this movie.

Opinions vary... I respect yours and hope you respect mine just as much
