Unlike a lot of people, I loved Jackie Brown... probably has something to do with the fact that I love Elmore Leonard novels.

Do you know my poetry?

I just thought it was Tarantino's weakest film. He had a fantastic cast, but the plot just didn't keep me interested. I also thought it was way too long and many of the scenes were unnesessary. But at the end, I still thought it was a good film, not great by any means, but I did like it.

Yeah, there have definitely been better book-to-film adaptations... hopefully Tarantino will stay away from that from now on.

Tarantino is my second favorite director of all time. Reservoir Dogs is my favorite of his movies, and my 5th fav. of all time. Pulp Fiction is my second fav. followed by Kill Bill Vol. 2, then Vol. 1 then Jackie Brown. Jackie Brown was definately his weakest film, although it was pretty good, amazing cast and everything, just didn't impress me. Do I consider him a god among directors? Not yet. The gods of directing in my opinion are Stanley Kubrick, Steven Spielberg, Sergio Leone, Orson Wells, Francis Ford Copolla and Martin Scorcese. QT has to make something like the Good the Bad and the Ugly or Raiders of the Lost Ark to be a god among directors. He is definately my pick for writing the best dialogue by far. Him and Kevin Smith.

Yes there is, QT started hand writing it before Kill Bill. And some of the cast have been announced. Michael Madsen and Bo Svenson will be in it. Also, it has been said for some time that Adam Sandler might have a role.

Here's how I know...UpComingMovies.com

Can you elaborate? My angry-text-fingers are shaking right now because they want to unleash a frenzy of fierce words about why you're wrong. I'm holding them back though, maybe you can make them understand by giving some reasons or examples.

Tarantino is just a huge movie geek that got lucky when the time was right. it could have been any of us with a script like Res Dogs.

He's far from the greatest.
I wouldn't even rank him among the best
Two decent movies don't make you great.

i finally agree with this guy!

So many good movies, so little time.
Reservoir Dogs
Jackie Brown
Pulp Fiction
Kill Bill I and II

The only one I didn't like was Jackie Brown. He has a long way to go to be one of the best director's of all time but his batting average is pretty good to me.

i agree that i wouldnt even rank him amoung the best. but just two decent movies? Pulp Fiction was great. Reservoir dogs was really good but no where as good as pulp. Jackie Brown was pretty good. Kill Bill 1 was good but not really the type of movie i expected from Tarantino and Kill Bill vol. 2 was great and alot better than vol. 1 and more of his style.
all of his movies are good. he hasnt made one bad one yet IMO.
