Best and Worst 2015 Movies that you watched so far?

It's amazing how some people's BEST are other people's WORST and vice versa.
One consensus I do see is that Jupiter Ascending apparently rots.

I watched the trailer for Jupiter Ascending, it looked atypical ridiculous. Ex Machina, Captain, that's my 2015 pick for you.

The reason why we never get along?

To be fair, I'm only singling out the most disagreeable examples and tend to agree with several of your other picks, but that's not nearly as much fun.

I know we have very different taste. I just thought giving half a star was a bit extreme for a comedy that you didn't find funny. Maybe you thought the special effects were terrible, but didn't realise they were supposed to be because they're a parody of bad special effects?


Edit: Eh, what am I saying. I don't know if they were supposed to be because they're a parody of bad special effects. I get the impression that it's a low budget movie. But the bad special effects are funny, and the movie doesn't take itself seriously, so I think it works. I don't know how you can say it has no redeemable qualities (because that's what you're half a star rating was described as in your movie a day thread).

Why?

She was sooooo boring the story was so predictable and hey the guy had sex with the same woman he did years earlier and he was ok with that

That review was like a beautifully garnished turd.

Considering the film, it couldn't be helped.
