Which of the movie "greats" do you personally feel is overrated? You know, that one film that critics give glowing reviews for, but you personally don't see it.
For me, that movie is Casablanca. Every major critic raves on about how amazing it is. While I do admit that the script is top-notch, every other aspect of it bores me to death. The plot, the acting (don't even get me started on Humphrey Boring-gart; seriously, pick a different persona, dude!), and the effects all put me to sleep. I've seen this movie all the way through a few times, and I still can't see what's so good about it save for the great writing.
