Best Ghost in a Movie?

Out of all the many and varied depictions of ghosts on screen, which is the best?

It doesn't necessarily have to be scary, but my pick would be the one from The Entity (1983). Very good special effects in that film.

She looks so spooky just standing there in the long grass!

Not a big fan of ghosts but I would have to say the ghosts in 6th Sense.

And the babe in Ghost Ship. I had a lady crush.

Does Ringu count as ghost?

Yes I would say so. A post-nuclear ghost I suppose. Traditional Japanese ghosts are interesting as they have that lank dark hair and apparently no feet.

Then this is my answer.

I liked the American version more, weirdly because we were shown more. This is still pretty disturbing though.
