Do you keep personal line-ups / noms / wins for every year?

Do you keep your personal picks for every category from every year?

Kind of like this blogger:

Been obsessed with this for a while... kind of "deepens" my enjoyment/knowledge of films if you know what I mean. Requires a lot of time though.

Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain
I admire that sort of dedication and discipline. But I think it all boils down to a simple calculation: In the limited time you've got on this planet (and most of us don't know what the limit is exactly), how do you want to spend it? I run my own personal movie blog as well. But I'm keenly aware every minute I spend tinkering around with the design and features is time I didn't spend writing a review. I don't do lists at all (might do a "best movies of all time," but that's about it.) Inevitably we all give up on our obsessions, whether by running out of energy or running out of time. So I measure these things in terms of the personal satisfaction I get out of "the doing" of the thing. The level of discipline on his site is way beyond my level of discipline. But gosh, look at the scope, and you have to imagine that is the very definition of "labor of love." Not my thing, but appears to be his thing, and hats off to him!
