Other than that, this entry checks the boxes on the list of what I expect from a James Bond movie with a Sharpie, those being timely political intrigue, exotic locations, memorable Bond girls and an equally memorable villain.

It all came down to this one movie (Brosnan's next three dipped in quality as each came along) as Bond stepped into the post-Cold War period and an era where the character would face changing attitudes, popular culture mores, competing action/adventure movies, changes in the way we watch movies and ....
