   I don't think I saw The Cotton Club, but I quite liked Internal Affairs. I think he became the Hollywood heartthrob and often that pisses people off who don't agree. Then he became a Buddhist in a very conservative Christian country. BTW, check out Black Widow, The Sheltering Sky and Shadowlands for Debra Winger.

   Yes, I watched that one.
   Also enjoyed it, but not as much as An Officer and a Gentleman. I really liked Debra Winger again, just like in Terms of Endearment. I find her very easy to like.
   
   I never got why so many people can't stand Richard Gere, by the way. He's very solid in practically every film he's in, in my opinion. The next two of his films I really want to watch are The Cotton Club (1984) and Internal Affairs (1990).
