    Do you speak Faroese? If so, you should have at least intermediate comprehension of Icelandic. I was looking at some Faroese phrases and, though many are obviously different from Icelandic, I can, using my knowledge of Icelandic, figure out the meanings of most.

    Do you really live in the Faroe Islands? If you speak Faroese, how well is your Icelandic? I'm familiar with Old Norse, though I believe my knowledge of the tongue is deteriorating from lack of practice as of late.
