For a Batman film, it's central character doesn't have much screentime and the rest of the characters are all underwritten.

Batman is my favorite superhero, and the Batman movies are one of my favorite film franchises to go through.

Michael Keaton is the other standout performer, and has easily the most layered performance, not just handling Bruce Wayne and Batman, but also tortured Bruce Wayne, public Bruce Wayne, and meltdown Bruce Wayne in Vicki's apartment.
