You seriously need to watch A Chinese Torture Story. It action, comedy and some other crazy shit.

And yeah, Japan peaked in the 60’s and 70’s, but there was still a wealth of films from them during the 80’s worth mentioning.

Ditto. It's the first locational obsession I had as a movie lover. I went back to it after a long absence and it's like I never left. HK, thanks for being there.
