I did a short comedic noir thing a few years ago where I played a victim and the killer, so people attached meaning and traits to the film I hadn't intended. I didn't mind since it didn't harm the film and it showed me that they were thinking about it.

I cast myself twice because my actor bailed and I figured I'd do it myself because I frequently cast myself multiple times. The fact they said the killer transferred his essence into his victims and infected people with his powers was fine by me. I didn't intend that. I also wasn't going to dispute their theory.

Thanks to modern film makers. If they ain't got a story just tell it out of order and it's artsy.
Is it weird that I try to keep things as simple as possible? Subtle is fine, like playing a comedic scene straight and stuff like that, but I try to keep the audience as little confused as I can. Sometimes my audience complicates it on its own, which I have no control over them doing that, so I don't worry about it. I just got, "There it is," because doing more seems pointless.

i don’t care what anyone says but the James Earl Jones episode of BBT is top tier comedy.
