That's the problem^^with legalizing it. You'll get rid of the agency's because the government will take their place, but you'll still have the hustling pimps and girls with drug problems. Many of these girls have no sense of responsibility either, meaning they have trouble working in a controlled environment.

Cul-de-Sac (1966)
I don't usually have problems with movies like this, but this time I did. The movie made nothing for me. I can't understand if it's a drama or a comedy. It's not heavy enough to be a drama because it's always trying to be funny, and it's not funny enough to be a good comedy. I smiled sometimes but that's pretty much it.
I liked Richard, performed by Mickey Rourke twin, Lionel Stander especially his voice, but the rest of the characters were pretty annoying! The pacing of the movie is also nice, but overall I have the same opinion as CR.
Sorry cricket, I usually love your noms...

Blade Runner (1982, Ridley Scott)
I watched Blade Runner for the first time right after I joined MoFo, almost 2 years ago! I was curious to see how much I'd enjoy it this time, and I am not disapointed!
The beggining is quite confusing, and after the first 45 minutes I was thinking I'd like the film a lot less than the first time. But then Rachael and Roy appear and wow... She is the first to give a deep philosophical sense to the movie and he might have just become my favourite villain of all time!
The last 10 minutes, in particular, are spectacular!!!
And there's of course the Ridley Scott's unparallel ability to create atmospheres and alternative worlds! In most films from this time or older, it's almost possible to see the end of the scenery because everything seems so artificial... In Blade Runner, Scott creates an amazing atmosphere that just feels natural, like everything he was shooting was actually real!
Overall, I liked this even more than the first time and it was already a favourite!

Blade Runner
Hopefully I don't get attacked when I say that I liked the film, but I did not love it. Other Ridley Scott films have entertained me more. I really liked the Sci-Fi aspects to this film. When the film was fed off of those elements that is when I felt that the film was at its best. Luckily that was a good chunk of the film. I couldn't get 100% into the characters and I do think the story is something that needs rewatches to get fully invested in. I liked Harrison Fords character but didn't love him and I just didn't get a real feel for the main villain replicants The look of the film was admirable. I did like the character of Rachel the best. The music has been spoken about a lot on here but to me it's just normal. I'm glad I finally got to it though. It won't be the last time I see it because I just think it's one of those films that needs to be more fully digested. I think it will be a top 2 or 3 contender for this HOF.

Amour (2012)
One of my biggest fears is when my wife and I grow old, will we need help, and who will help us. This movie did nothing to make me feel better about that. This is an absolutely miserable film to watch. However, I can't say I had any problems with it, other than maybe the last 10 minutes dragged out needlessly. Even though I didn't exactly enjoy it, it is effective and extremely well done. The acting was terrific, and it was a good nomination. I'm not really sure what else to say about it.

Blade Runner
Another interesting futuristic movie that's old enough so that the future year is today's one . There are some parts I didn't quite understand but the end was perfect. Also, what did she meant when she said the snake isn't real? cause that was a real scary sh*t

Hey Tat! Did you just watch Blade Runner recently or had you seen it before?
The snake was artificial that's why it had the makers license code on the snake scale.

The Empire Strikes Back
When the first three of the series came out, I saw Star Wars and Return of the Jedi many times each at the movies. I loved them. As far as I can remember, I only saw The Empire Strikes Back one time, and that was because I didn't like it as much back then. When I watched Star Wars again last night, a big part of my enjoyment was reliving those memories I had as a kid. I don't have those same memories with The Empire Strikes Back. The movie starts out great and has all of the same great characters, set designs, sound effects, etc. However, the movie doesn't give me the same excitement as the other two. As much as I like the character of Yoda, that whole portion of the movie eats away at my interest. It's a very good movie, but the lack of passion I had for it as a 9 year old is still there 36 years later.
