Tries Building a House in a Bad Neighborhood: Encounters Vandals

I am looking for the title of the old movie a family moves to a bad neighbor hood and starts building a house from scratch with there own bare hands only to have the vandals of the Neighborhood burn it down but they start again I think it was a movie of the week can you help me

I saw this movie in the 70sthe kids were in there teens for the most part with some kids a little younger I think it was a movie of the week there was one scene where a brick was thrown through a window and hurt or nearly hurt one of the girls it was a mix of boys and girls in the family
