Jennifer Grey was 27 years old when she played Francis "Baby" Houseman in Dirty Dancing.
I agree with you, that's why they're called actors Dirty Dancing would have been another good film. We'll have to do a part 2!

BTW I've found all the movies except Ms. M's optional to watch movie
Yesterday (1985) If anyone has a link PM me.

Fun Fact:

David Foster and John Parr wrote this song specifically for the movie St. Elmo's Fire, but the song itself is about a Canadian athlete named Rick Hansen, who was paralyzed from the waist down after a car crash when he was 15. On March 21, 1985 Hansen began his "Man In Motion" tour, traveling about 70 miles a day to raise money for spinal cord research. At first, Hansen had trouble getting media attention and donations, but when this song was released with the movie in June, it became his anthem, and as the song rose up the charts, interest in Hansen's journey grew. By the time the "Man In Motion" tour was completed on May 22, 1987, Hansen had put over 40,000 Kilometers (24,856 miles) on his wheelchair in 34 countries on four continents, raising $26 million. He became a national hero in Canada, where he is closely associated with this song.

I'm having a super rough time finding these noms which isn;t usually an issue for me. I am sketchy about those streaming sites because the poppies can really harm your work station...I cant afford to lose anything now. I've tried youtube, next to nothing..prime basically sucks...nf wont work on my blu ray player anymore (bastards)...and I certainly cannot afford the rental or purchases.

Any help would be super appreciated!

I should own about half of these! Gahh..I suck

Funny because this has been by far the easiest one for me to track down, all of them are available to DVD rent off Netflix what country are you in Joel?

I picked my nom because I wanted a film not too obscure but also not too popular.
That was my thinking with Lucas. My favourite 80s teen film is Some Kind of Wonderful (anyone else a fan of this?), or I could have picked any other John Hughes film, or Heathers or so many others that are well known. But I think Lucas is a quite little seen one, and one I feel quite a connection to. Packed full of proper 80s icons as well, Corey Haim, Winona Ryder, Charlie Sheen, Kerri Green, and a great 80s soundtrack.

Happy with the rest of the selections, including my own, Ive only seen 3 (Stand By Me and Say Anything the others, which I dont mind seeing again) and havent even heard of some of the others, so something new. I think I have access to a couple of the others, Ill check my sources tomorrow and let you know if there are any Im struggling to find.

Trouble with a capital "T"
Cricket said he's real busy, so he's not going to do this Hof. That's totally cool as the HoF just started.

So his movie Heaven Help Us (1985) is out.

Searching the major streaming sites like Amazon Prime, Hulu and Netflix .. this is what I found

Akira - Hulu (Sub and Dub)

Teen Wolf - Amazon Prime, Hulu

Once Bitten - Hulu, Amazone Prime

There are a few on Amazon that you can pay (rent) to watch.
