Wow, where the Hell have I been... Alain Delon and Bronson in the same film? Never even knew that existed. Two kings of the stoicism and quiet handsome badass school of acting.

I just watched this for the first time recently (last month) on... Amazon Prime streaming, I think it was. I loved it. Did the humor and oddball nature of Chazz Palmintiri's gangster... slowly becoming an art critic and writer not vibe well for you? I thought it was hilarious and such a different type of film. I do love me some Woody Allen though!

So many great heist films, but this is on my short list of maybe four or five in the running for the greatest heist film of all time along with The Lavender Hill Mob, The Killing, The Taking of Pelham 123 (kind of ), and Drive (also, kind of).

The last 10 minutes are perfection.
