Hello you!
Oh, I just remembered those Citi Group (?) identity theft commercials where people who got their credit cards stolen are speaking, but in the voice of the people who stole them!! My favorite one is the one with the beer drinking-couch potato talking about buying a boustierre!! "It lifts and seperates" LOL!!

The People's Republic of Clogher
I always liked the Rutger Hauer Guinness adverts, which only became known to me when I moved to England.

We had rather more direct "Drink Guinness or we'll shoot you" kinda thangs...

One of my favorites is the spoof of the "wazzup" commercials where it's tennis players or something talking on cordlesses, instead of "wazzup" it's "what are you doing?"

This is terribly dorky, but I love that AARP commercial with Ping the clone. "Good morning, Sleepydo!" Awesome.

All good people are asleep and dreaming.
No doubt about my favorite commercial is for the Nissan 300ZX.

G.I. Joe picks up Barbie in his ZX while Ken is left behind.

Set to Van Halen's "You Really Got Me."

Welcome to the human race...
A few of my favourite ads at the moment...

- A new Snickers ad which features a Japanese reworking of the best-known Snickers ad (can't bother describing it) which involves crazy Jap graphics and hari-kiri. It was so random in a Japanese way.
- An ad for an Australian beer called Carlton Draught. The voiceover is pure gold... "brewed in...big...metal...things...put in kegs and driven around...by HORSES!!!...POURED INTO FROSTY SIDEWAYS GLASSES AND DRUNK IN PUBS!!! Carlton Draught - Made From Beer!"
- Another Carlton Draught ad that involves a reworking of Carl Orff's O Fortuna - "ITS-A-BIG-AD!" Gold.

One from quite a few years ago.

The phrase 'not happy Jan' has now entered the Australian vernacular.
