The genres I've seen the least of are romance and westerns.

Horror is my least watched genre. Even tonight on Halloween I'm watching a musical

The only musical you should watch on Halloween is The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Or Sweeney Todd (2007) But nah, I'll watch something tame. Then get ready of a month of more of solid noir.

Married, family guy 1990s & 2000s me:
Comedy
Drama
Action
Romance
(not a genre, but plenty of animation)

Overworked 2010s me:
Drama & Action (aka "mindless entertainment")
Some Science Fiction

Drifting into retirement me:
Science Fiction
Drama
Action
(Returning to roots)

Especially in the past decade, dipping into international fare, particularly Korean serial drama and movies.

Genre I can't put up with: Horror. (Zombies eating people, serial killers slashing and maiming. When did this get to be entertaining?) The occasional high-tension thriller like The Conjuring .. I can see the point of that.

if there was like a collectively agreed upon top 10 of every genre i don't think there's any genre i'd have even seen all 10 of. maaaaybe horror??
