Most Intense Scene in a Movie

Tools

Although I thought the rest of the movie was fairly average, the scene in One Hour Photo where Sy is sitting on the lounge, drinking a beer, and the family arrives home.

That and most all of Dancer in the Dark.

Most definatly. Found that film a bit too hard to watch at times because its so intense. Excellant though

I dunno. Most intense scene? Hard to say. Here's a list of mine that I conjured up:

1. "Luke, I am your father" scene from the Empire Strikes Back.
2. Halloween 2 scene where Jamie Lee Curtis' character is running away from Michael Myers.
3. Any good horror movie has its share of intense scenes.
4. Pet Semetary- the scene where Zelda jumps up from out of her bed to talk to that one lady. That scene gave me the creeps when I had to go into a bedroom all by myself.
5. The Omen- the scene where Gregory Peck is about to kill Damian, and the cops break in and shoot at Peck.
6. Pretty much all of To Kill a Mockingbird, big climax at the end, wouldn't you say?

And finally...

7. The scene in Signs when the alien walks across the screen at the Brazillion birthday party. Had to sleep with my TV on that night... and a late-night trailer of Signs came on, and hence my head was buried underneath my covers.

There's more, but that's all I can really think of right now. Do you guys agree with my list or not?

OOOh, i just watched The Mothman Prophecies. The ending with the bridge is very intense. The moment the camera zooms along the river highlighting the bridge and all the coincidences as Richard Gere slowly whispers "Dear God" gave me UBER goosebumps.

that sounds as intense as the part on dantes peak when they are rushing away from the big killer cloud in the little blue car and the camera cuts from the cave doors they are about to smash through to linda and pierce's horror struck faces. it must cut back and forth about ten times before they get a bit closer to the doors and pierce says through clenched teeth 'oh sweet jesus' makes me laugh everytime i see it. ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

sorry if that sounded like i was mocking the mothman prophecies....it wasnt meant to be a mocking statement. i havent seen it so all i can do is imagine the scene...all i see is 'oh sweet jesus' lol

Its seriously not a bad film. It has some genuinly creepy moments and the atmospheric filming of it all makes it quite enjoyable to watch. the story becomes a bit over stretched at the half way point but it has a good ending, if not slightly predictable but still very enjoyable. I think you'll like it. everyone i went to see it with at the cinema enjoyed it and i havnt heard too many bad things. Give it a go! Thats what i say!

Thanks Blibbs!

Lately it has to be when the Ellen B's character is going mad from slimming tablets in 'Rqm for a Dream' very compelling and sad.

Probably the best thing in that film.

It reminded Kong of that infamous big foot footage; in fact it was probably intended to look similar to it.
