Gen Z wants less sex in movies

I am guessing people get upset about it, because the female character gave into being forced which a lot of people are bothered by I am guessing?

Still haven't seen it. Maybe someone else has a good example of lots of sex in a really well written great movie? Anyone?
What about Unfaithful (2002)? I remember the story being good, and it has at least three sex scenes in from what I recall if that counts.

An ugly and awkward scene, but somehow fitting. It is unquestionably an assault. Rachael is less than human and Deckard has orders to kill her. Her life is completely in his hands. He even has gun in hand when he jams her against the wall.

At the same time it is a humanization. Rachael is entirely uncertain of herself. She plays piano and reflects that she does not know if it her or Tyrell's niece. Deckard affirms her--Rachael as a locus of action--saying "You play beautiful." He moves in to kiss her and she says "I can’t rely on my…" indicating that she doesn't believe that she has the ability to navigate intimacy (she doesn't even know that she is, let alone who). Deckard pushes through the uncertainty, insisting that she accept herself as a person capable of desiring and being desired.

They're both a wreck, in desperate need of something, someone. Selena deflates a similar moment in the film 28 Days Later:
SELENA - Got a plan yet, Jim? You want us to find a cure and save the world? Or fall in love and f*ck?
There really isn't any saving the world, but one of the small consolations our species enjoys is occasionally opportunity to do the latter. Deckard's ravaging is ugly, closer to the title of a song by Peaches (which some will have heard a bit of in Lost in Translation) titled F**k the Pain Away, but it reflects the desperate circumstances of both characters.

This is another good one, if not also kinda trash. But good trash

100% true. I mean, have you ever heard of a horse accused of sexual assault?

They don't need to assault or rape, because women just throw themselves on them. But even if they are being coercive, woman might see that as sexy.

Zeus probably took the form of a horse on some occasion when he was ravaging the denizens of ancient Greece while trying to escape the jealous eye of Hera .

Not bad for a horse.

People watch films for one of three reasons, at least, that I can recall now:

. Entertainment, they have porn already, some with interesting plots, why see it in movies?
. Escapism, well, this generation ain't getting sex, why see other's getting it?
. Art, nothing to say.

You ready? You look ready.
what if Gen Z doesn't want sex in their movies because they are just getting so little of it? jealous methinks

I also think the Me-Too thing has messed with the mentality of many people...I think many feel it's "wrong" to support a woman doing a sex scene because they're convinced that it MUST be exploitive. So, in their need to be politically correct, they think it's the right thing to decry any sex scenes to the point where it makes them uncomfortable. Meanwhile they don't realize that no one cares if they're PC.

What's strange is realizing that being against this stuff is about controlling women in the same way. Churches used to decry nudity because it was sinful. Now we decry it because it's supposedly demeaning to women. It's completely different reasons and yet it's the same result...telling women what they can't do in movies because it makes stuffy men uncomfortable. This is the very mindset that the nudity boom in the 70s was rebelling against. I wonder if another is coming as the next generation rebels against the PC mindset of their parents.

Overall, the next generation is so ****ed and I wished they'd stop ruining our movies with this stuff.

>Anora was oversexed.

It's a movie about a sex worker and it's one of the more realistic portrayals I've seen of someone working at a strip club.
What is more insulting is a movie like Hustlers that depicts strippers and somehow has zero nudity. Now THAT is a joke.

Nudity is not sinful. It's impure thoughts that nudity fosters that is sinful. While I'm no stranger to impure thoughts and actions, I've been persuaded by necessity of modesty to avoid the sin of impurity.
Now we decry it because it's supposedly demeaning to women.
Women don't mind to compete for best men. Men on the other hand would rather not even think other men have been there before. So a man with lots of options could be womanizer. In the past that was frowned upon, these days that's a norm. Whereas woman loses value with every man she entices in.

Modesty is preferable for society.

But I personally am not opposed to nudity in movies if done tastefully and maybe with some restraint. I'm opposed to softcore porn that is Anora.

But how do they feel about avocado toast?

We're facing a de-population crisis, globally. I know, it's hard to get excited about this when there are over 8 billion people on the planet, but exponential decline in population will create considerable misery. It isn't just that people don't want or can't afford to have kids, biological fertility is decreasing. What I'm saying is that we need to encourage young people to have irresponsible sex resulting in unwanted pregnancies to support us pensioners as we ride off into the sunset. Wild sex comedies and romances should be funded propagandistically in the same way that the military funds Top Gun movies to rake in cannon fodder for the military. Deus Vult. /s
