Sad to hear but he apparently lived a long, successful life. I remember him from The Yearling and from John Ford's Rio Grande. Those are the only two I remember him from. Godspeed, Claude.

Wait what, I didn't know that he passed and watched Intruder in the Dust yesterday. Of course, The Yearling and Rio Grande are freaking classics, too.
