looking for fun comedy movies. (preferably not for kids)

I want to watch some fun comedy movies with my friend, but I don't know what to watch. any suggestions? Preferably something that isn't ultra niche, like an old unknown black & white movie. All suggestions are appreciated

I'm not sure that I can help because I just looked at your top ten movies and I don't like movies like Superbad, The Hangover, and Ted, but I'll give it a shot.

If you want to go old school, watch some Marx Brothers. Slapstick as we know it today doesn't exist without those fellas. Night at the Opera is my favourite.

Duck Soup is another hilarious one. I think it's funny how every character in their films is a moron and witty at the same time and absolutely nothing happens. Their characters are stupid except what they're saying is clever and hilarious.

Mel Brooks and Monty Python (the group) (they aren't a person) are the kings of American and British adult-geared comedy, respectfully.

Favorite movie that combines humor and suspense? Ideally with a good twist. I’m thinking Glass Casa, the Knives Out movies. Any other recs?
