Closed captioning isn't an initial issue because Ivan does speak some English and Ani conveniently understands Russian, but as more characters arrive on the canvas, most of them do speak Russian, and unlike Parasite where the fact that it is in Korean becomes a non-issue, it is not here and if I had....

Anora follows the titular character (Mikey Madison), a New York stripper that meets and falls in love with Vanya (Mark Eydeshteyn), the young son of a Russian oligarch.
