I taught my cat to "ask" for a snack. Now he asks for everything.

I taught him to give smooches, love and hugs as well. Smooches are on the side of the mouth where their scent glands are. Love is a kiss on the top of his head and hugs are given when I'm laying down. He leans over on me and tightens his paws like giving a hug.

He's very intelligent for a cat.
That's way cool. Cats are teachable and smart.
They are probably the smartest of all domesticated animals!

Awwwwww
When she was a kitten she loved to kill my socks. We'd hear her and go, "Yep, Mercury killed another of his socks." I once tried to take it from her and she grabbed it and ran. I laughed.

Cats are great. I had a silver Siamese/gray tabby that would either beg for my attention or attack my hands.
That sounds incredibly adorable!
It was. She was a feisty thing and a gorgeous cat.
