Glazed?
... those brakes don't turn out to be glazed, you're going home anyway.

*Pats shoulder with a smile*
What really made me hate doing things I didn't want to do was my dad yelling at me, "You need to respect other people's opinions and go to church!" Respect mine and let me stay home...
I don't like forcing people to do optional things. It stems from me being a kid and being forced to do stuff I hated doing.

Do your kiddos like The Dark Crystal or Labyrinth?
I don't know that I've shown either one to them. I can ask them if they'd like to watch them.
I love Greek mythology
It's a myth of the Greeks to explain the seasons...so with Persephone returning, her mother, Demeter, stops grieving and allows plants to grow again.

Persephone was kidnapped by Hades. She ate a pomegranate and has to live 1/4 of the year with him and 1/4 with her mother. Spring is her return and Fall is her descent.

Right now it's time for Nyx and Erebus.

I really love the long nights of winter

I don't mind winter but I'm waiting for Persephone to return so Demeter will be happy again.
That's spring, right?
