2007 was a great year for movies. You had two movies come out that year that are widely regarded as cinematic classics, There Will Be Blood and No Country for Old Men. But, 2007 also had Zodiac, Gone Baby Gone, Eastern Promises, The Assassination of Jesse James, and Michael Clayton, all outstanding films in their own right.
So which was truly the best film to come out that year?
My answer is a simple one, as I consider both TWBW and No Country to be top 20 all time movies.
But if I had to choose one from the rest of the pack that was the best of 2007 I'd probably say either Zodiac or Eastern Promises.
