Dil Chahta Hai vs. Lock. Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
I saw the former yesterday, and while pleasant, it's WAY too long for a simple love story/soap opera/musical. I'm not a big fan of the latter but it's mildly better for me.

I find the reaction that Bollywood films get from many people to be kind of weird - especially considering most people have probably never watched more than one or two (if that) in their lives. Sure, they tend to be very light but they are no worse than most of what Hollywood puts out these days. The main difference is that Hollywood is far more likely to put out high quality movies but 90% of what it produces is of a similar standard (or worse) than Bollywood.

Having said that, I agree with what Mark said about that movie - it's pleasant but way too long. I didn't feel like it particularly dragged or anything but if it was an hour and a half shorter it would be a nice little (b)romantic comedy.

No reason not to move forward swiftly if votes in one section are drying up. It would be sweet to be able to move onto round 2 by Christmas time, although I'll always make sure there's sufficient voting time for each part.
