Game of Thrones, Season 6

I was sad when i saw bronn get poisoned in dorne and happy when he got his cure.
he is a fun character and so is the hound.

"I understand that if any more words come pouring out of your **** mouth, i'm going to have to eat every last chicken in this place"

I'm still very worried about Podrick .

Little finger can't be trusted, he is really up to something, he should have died there. Also I'm wondering if Jorah will survive. I still think it's kind of bulls*** that they find them in that tree just because he "touched" him, I wonder what will Bran do now, and withouth Hold the Door, I don't see a lot of chances of survival.

I've been thinking about the mechanics of Bran's powers and what happened to hodor.

He warged into hodor in the present, and then he warged into him in the past at the same time.
This linked past hodor with future hodor, and basically he died and his mind was stuck in the same hodor state ever since.

The reason that Bran had to do this to him was that hodor's mom or whatever said in the prior flashback "He'll never learn how to fight!!"
Bran had to stunt Hodor and make him simple.

This let him take over Hodor in the earlier seasons and use his own knowledge of fighting inside of Hodors body.
It let him survive and get to where he is today. Hodor was a loyal servant and would liked to have helped, but he had no skill.

When Bran was visiting the Night's King he used the godswood's roots to do it. When the raven died he said "Leave Me" and Bran was still inside of a vision even though he wasn't touching the roots. The raven also said that Bran would "become him" so does this all mean that Bran has his vision powers at any place now and he does't need to be by the roots of a godswood to travel into the past?

Does it mean that Bran can warg into anyone now? Can he warg into people in the past?
Have we seen the last of the ramifications of the mark on Bran's arm, or will it spell doom when Bran goes through the ice tunnel to castle black?

How come I get the feeling we haven't seen the last of Ned Stark- - or any Stark?
Sleds leave huge trails in the snow.. what if bran cannot get away and he is going to die.
Then out of nowhere benjen stark comes to save the day.

Unless I'm forgetting someone benjen is the only soul still alive north of the wall.

Maybe i couldn't see, but i'm a bit surprised that nobody mentioned Meera. I think the most shocking and important scene was that Meera killed a White Walker. Also it claims some theories about her.

Welcome to the human race...
Jorah needs to find sir davos. He probably knows how they cured shireen.
It is my understanding that one can survive contracting grayscale as a child but contracting it as an adult is practically a death sentence, hence why it's such a big deal.

I miss Bronn and I miss The Hound. Always enjoyed their gruff simplicity, the Hound abrasively so. Did Bronn really go with Jamie to Dorne in the books or did they add that?
WARNING: "A Song of Ice and Fire" spoilers below
No, Jaime never even went to Dorne in the books. As I recall, at the most recent point in the books' timeline Bronn is still more or less living as a lord with his own castle and wife (who was seen briefly in season five) and Jaime is instead out in the field dealing with various Lannister/Baratheon allies.

I work for Keyser Soze. He feels you owe him.
Or maybe IDK Howland Reed might have went looking for his kids.
I doubt that, Howland never left The Neck after events at Tower of Joy and he sent his children to Bran fully knowing they could die. He is also needed at The Neck as there are no other male Reeds (as far as I remember) and Robb sent some of his commanders to Howland before Red Weeding. Reeds never swore their loyalty to the Boltons, so officially they are still loyal to The King in the North (whoever that might be at this point). House Tully, Mormont and Reed are still loyal to the king (Starks).

I said this on another forum and was reminded that Sam gave Bran and co dragonglass when they met, and the spears were dragonglass tipped. Might have symbolic meaning though, we wont know until we get the next part of the Ned Stark going into the tower vision.

Benjen coming in would be legit awesome.

WARNING: "." spoilers below
I'm aware that in the books a character called "Coldhands" comes around a couple of times to save Bran and company and Sam I think, it is unknown who this is but it's speculated that this is some sort of resurrected magical Benjen undead.

I'm not 100% sure about this but...

GRRM came out and said in one interview how Coldhands is not Benjen, of course he might be lying.

It will be interesting if they introduce Coldhands now that they've decided to kill off everyone near Bran. I like the Bran the Builder aspect of him creating the wall. But if we are to get into "LOST" territory here...

Maybe Bran can't change anything at all. Maybe whatever happened has to happen. So Bran was always determined to warg into Hodor. Hodor was Hodor before Bran was born, so it would make sense. He hasn't changed anything yet.

It seems the writers are really going at break-neck speed here. Cleaning out the cast for the few remaining seasons.

The Hodor scene is great in theory, I think the people I watched it with kinda ruined it for me as they laughed and complained at the Hold the Door yelling and convulsing.

I laughed at Danny telling Mormont to find a cure. "I command you to find a cure". Come on lady!!!!

3 people have killed White-Walkers - Jon, Sam and now Meera. I don't think it means she is special in anyway, just that she used the dragon-glass spear.

It was cool seeing the White Walkers origins though...

Agreed. Opportunity for Coldhands to appear is here and the good part is, they never need to tell us who or what he is, he just is, at least that is how I see him as a character.

Theory about Bran being Bran the Builder is also very interesting.

The way the TV series is going I think they are more likely to re-introduce Benjen as opposed to a magical being that hasn't been seen before in the TV show, as far as the TV series goes there is NO-ONE left north of the wall other than Bran and Meera except for the uncertain fate of Benjen. So who can they introduce to save Bran? some wildlings that have stayed hidden? that goes against the story that Mance brought all the clans together, and is it realistic at this point that anyone is still holding out against the others, possible I guess but either someone is going to save Bran or he is going to be captured/killed. Killing him anytime soon would make zero sense though. If it is Benjen then what has he been doing all this time? in a pact with the Raven to help Bran? but why not show yourself at all? Bran has to have been there for a considerable amount of time, maybe as much as a year. Looking forward to next episode to find out.
