Best of 2012

I watched "Spring Breakers" recently to see if it held up and it did:- 10/10 for me. They wanted moment to last forever is all. Coolness transcends skimpy bikinis and bathing in alcohol. How far can they go with Britney's "Everytime" used as hymn for their journey.

Yeah this is the stuff i'm looking for mostly. All recs are welcome but these are the ones that often go under my radar. Thanks will take a look at those and add some of them.

Think i've seen all the others you recd except Wolf Children will add that too.

A few people i trust that liked In Bruges told me to stay away from this but it has been getting praise here so i'll check it out.

Its not as good as In Bruges but its still pretty fun

Dude, how can you miss to watch Life of Pi, supposedly the best movie of 2012?

If you can watch it on a BIG screen, do it, and you won't regret.

According to who? Genuinely curious i've not really heard anyone call it the best of 2012.

As i said i own and want to read the book first i'll get to it.

My worst 2012 would be Project X.

Well, if you want off-piste you could always add two-thirds of Ulrich Seidl's Paradise trilogy (Love and Faith are both 2012 releases if you go by IMDb; Hope is 2013). "Interesting" would be the word I'd use.

According to me, and I was right on this.

Gyo: Tokyo fish attack here. 2012 was truly the year of animation, for better and for worse. This one was embarrassing.

Thanks hadn't heard of that. Added Love and Faith and i'll add Hope to the 2013 one when i get round to it.

Think i'm probably done with 2012 for now, already up to 24

Have tried to watch Les Miserables twice and turned it off. Flight was superb.

Mea Maxima Culpa is one of the few Gibney docs i haven't watched, it's mostly the reaction i had to Deliver Us From Evil being brought up Catholic and the horrific nature of the crimes really gets to me. I will at some point though.
