The opening scene starts with a dance number, turns into negotiations over diamonds and the remains of a Chinese Emperor, becomes a fight inside the club, becomes a car chase, becomes them falling down in a plane and then finally becomes a water rapids ride.

Hi guys! This time I completely agree with @Dirk120. The Lion King is one of the best movie openings ever. Especially with the song Circle of Life where at the same time, Rafiki lifts young Simba at the top of the giant rock of Pride Lands, and every animal bowing before him. Have a good day!
