Mother lost her child movie

Will try my luck again... I have been searching for this movie for a long time.


A mother lost her child (boy) and she is searching for him during the entire movie. In one of the scenes the boy enters a shop and there is a statue of a woman and he thinks that the statue is his mother.

I am not sure about the year but it should be before the 1990s and it may be an Italian movie.

That could be Turkish movie "Garip Kuş"
