Is this the best nuclear war related movie ever?

I haven't seen Threads. But my vote for best nuclear war movie that I have seen is Miracle Mile (1988)
I haven't seen that one. Panic in Year Zero is another good one.

Panic in Year Zero yes love that one! My review if you care to read it, it's short.
I remember when the pandemic started back in 2020, I went into a supermarket a few days into it and people were panic buying. I said to my wife it was like Panic in Year Zero in there.

Trouble with a capital "T"
I liked, The Day After. Black Rain too which is a Japanese film about the fallout effects on the civilians. Also there's the French film Hiroshima mon amour.

That's a good one too, I just think of it as a little less about nuclear war. It counts though!

Yeah I see what you mean. I wasn't really a fan of Hiroshima mon amour myself, but I only seen it once and years ago.

Ohhhh, I liked Black Rain better, I saw it thanks to CR.
i am going to watch this

It's on YouTube

Oh and you probably already know, but it's not the Michael Douglas movie
I loved that opening scene with the mushroom cloud. Very well done.
