This is based on a Stephen King short story and it has that "feel" like all the good movies do.

This film annoyed me in its first few seconds. Horror is horror, but this feels like pure fear-mongering.

Beyond the concept itself, it’s not bad. The dinner scene is incredibly watchable. The whole thing is giving me the strongest Succession vibes. But something is lacking; not captivating somehow.

I'm probably going to regret this.

I absolutely did! A masterpiece. Rewatching it now, believe it or not, which normally would have been quite soon for me. But yes, I need more films like this in my life.
