If you need Chris to set your roster etc., I am sure everyone would be fine with it.

I can't read player notes today here at work, so I am not sure if Yahoo is running at 100% today...

How are you accessing MoFo? You can log in to Yahoo Fantasy on your laptop/computer using the url, not the app.

Yeah, the site is way more reliable than the app. I use the app when absolutely necessary and basically never otherwise.
Yeah, I do most of my managing on the website and use the app for checking the scores in real-time during the games.

Ok. I got some more updates done and i finally got in the app. I pretty much only use the app at this point. I still have a laptop but i barely use it. I think this new phone just needed some security updates or whatever these things do when you first turn them on. I haven't even had it fio 24 hours yet.

Reminds me of this bit Louis CK did. He's just describing being frustrated and at one point he says "...and you get something in the mail that says you're phone's different..."

I think about that all the time.

My team has all of its same issues and deficiencies, and yet I am on a two-week winning streak. Week four at least had my first ceiling spike by my QB, Jared Goff's 30.68 versus Seattle. This week Goff was on a BYE. I had drafted Chicago's rookie Caleb Williams as my second QB. But through four games he had only topped his projection once, so I decided to go to the waiver wire for somebody who had been more consistent. The QB of the NFC's only remaining unbeaten team, Minnesota's Sam Darnold, was available and averaging 25.07 a game. I made the swap! So of course Caleb had his best Fantasy game yet, 27.56 versus his modest 16.76 projection, while Darnold saw his team remain unbeaten but had a disastrous Fantasy line: 4.26! Ugh.

Despite my QB not able to get me even five points, I mathematically still had a chance against The Parrotheads. Luckily for me, his team was somehow even worse off than mine. Out of his nine starters, including his Kicker and DEF, only one of them beat their projection, and that was Houston's star WR Nico Collins who almost surely would have had another spectacular game but was forced out with a hamstring issue after scoring a TD in the first quarter: two catches on two targets for 78 yards and the TD. 14.80 points. He was projected at 14.32. Everybody else under-performed.

Most of my squad under-performed: Bijan Robinson (9.20), Marvin Harrison Jr. (4.60), and Aaron Jones (5.80). At least Jones has a legit excuse: he was injured and left the game. Even my Kicker was injured! San Fran's Jake Moody got a high-ankle sprain making a tackle.

I had two fellas who got a tad higher than their projections in Cardinal RB James Conner (13.00 versus his 12.35) and WR New York Football Giant Wan'Dale Robinson (13.00 versus his 10.60 projection). But my one and only star performance of the week was the TE I picked up off of the waiver wire to cover Sam LaPorta's BYE. Green Bay's Tucker Craft has emerged the past two weeks as a favorite target of Jordan Love, culminating in four receptions for 88 yards and two touchdowns in the win over the Rams for 22.80 points!

As my margin for "victory" was only 10.70, clearly Craft's big number was the difference maker. I am averaging 96.45 points per game while my opponents are averaging 116.72. That doesn't seem sustainable as a business model, but I'll try to keep it going and make it three in a row against Yoda in Week Six. I do get Jared Goff back, though now that I am not starting him I expect Sam Darnold will get 40 points this time.

The trick is not minding
Yeah those are the ones that inspire inward fits.
I remember my second year in this league, and I started off well. High scoring team, and was 2-2 at the time. Then I endured back to back last minute losses to Sedai (121-117) and PW (132-129), the second of which caused me to toss my mouse in frustration because they both had a player score a literal last minute TD to propel them ahead of me.
Those kind of defeats stand out.

Hmmm. I try to edit my last post to @Yoda and it just kicks me to the top of the page for some reason. Weird.
Sounds like that new cellphone of yours is the sequel to Christine

The trick is not minding
3-2 with a really tough matchup against Raul. I don’t expect to win, so 3-3 isn’t too big a deal. I shouldn’t have doubted Shaheed against KC. I think I’m done doubting him now. Going to have to slot in my back up RB’s, and I hope they have a few TD’s to give this week.
Entering that rough stretch with Raul, Justin, Holden, Wide Right, PW, and then The Dreaded Clowns. I need to at least go 4-2 in that span, or no worse than 3-3.

8-6 is still within reach, but I need to stop leaving TD’s on the bench. Squeaking by each week is nice and all, but at some point I need more points to feel comfortable in my chances of making the playoffs.

So I drop Kirk Cousins to have Justin Fields as my backup. Cousins then blows up the scoreboard on TNF, but thats ok. Fields does hohum against Dallas, but thats ok, I only need him for week 6 on Mahomes Bye. Now theyre talking theres a chance Russell Wilson may start instead. jgkforfj !!!
