Half way point evaluation:
Record: 3-4
How did I get here?
I’m very lucky to have even won 3 games at this point. Achane was supposed to be an explosive option at RB but Tua’s injury has impacted not only his, but T Hill and Waddle’s production as well. With Tua set to return as early as next week, I’m hoping for Achane to return to the early season firm (wk 1 and 2 specifically).
Despite my low output of points, I’m surprisingly high on Total TD scored. That’s because Kyren and Burrow have been my co MVPs.
Despite the mediocre start, there’s reason for optimism ahead. Cooper looks to become WR 1 at Buffalo ,which means Shakir’s numbers may or may not take a hit. He’ll likely be even more TD dependent, something in the vein of Myers in LV. Achane’s production should see an increase as noted above, as well.
And I still have Chase Brown and Roschon Johnson, who have become more involved in the offense as of late, on the bench.
It’s not an easy road ahead. The next 4 games will be telling. If I can finish 5-2, that’ll put me in at 8-6, and likely playoff bound. A 7-7 finish May get me there, but as I’ve noted previously, 8-6 is an almost guarantee playoff spot more so than 7-7 is.
We’ll see how it shakes up
