I don't know how Larry would have reacted actually. I'm not sure, but I think that wasn't the original question. The original question was whether he should have moved to the front seat, which relates more towards what is acceptable in that scenario, and that should be answered independent of what the other party in the interaction might do, since it's about what's right vs. what's not, in my opinion.

I know it wasn't the original question, I was just curious. Is there anything else you want to say on this one, before we go on to the next one, which I've already chosen, I just need to see if I can find the clip.

I don't have any additional thoughts. Does anyone else have any thoughts on this scenario, should Larry have moved to the front seat, or is it okay that he didn't, and why?

I think we've waited long enough for others to join in on this discussion. Feel free to post the next video at your convenience.

Larry. As Susie said, he is healthy and thin, and Jeff is obese and likely unhealthy (he had a heart attack during one of the seasons of the show). Kidney health is multi-factorial and is likely determined yes, by age, but also by overall health and lifestyle, including one's own health behaviors, such as diet, drinking, and exercise habits, which impact things like blood pressure, cholesterol level, blood sugar level, the likelihood of future risk for things like cancer and heart disease, etc. On all of these points, outside of age, which is definitely a factor that would comparatively make him a lesser candidate, Larry is far and away the better candidate, in my opinion. Also, Larry is one of Richard's best friends and has also known him for much longer than Jeff, so on a moral level, he also seems to have more of the responsibility than Jeff does to donate.

I don't think there is really a controversy with that. How the game works is the last person pointed to is the one who is chosen, so Jeff is right that if Larry was selected at the end of the game, he gives the kidney.

Now everyone who does eenie meenie has different wrods at the end and at the end of Marty's, his final words were "and you are out", "out" implies eliminated so shouldn't Jeff have been the one to give the kidney?
