Oh look, it was one of those The-Jackson-11-go-off-like-a-nuclear-bomb weeks...

Back to not being able to break 90 next week...

Fantasy Footballs so unforgiving compared to Baseball. Bad draft? Youre screwed. Bad trade? Youre screwed. Bad drop - screwed. I should call my team "The TONGO Screw". Sounds like a drink, a dance, or an uban dictionary one night stand.
Not going to proclaim I wont make any moves or trades, but I know none will help. My team for the first 8 games averaged 96.97 points per game. I couldnt even hit that number this week. Its gonna be a long 2 months, so be it.. I hope someone upsets the Clowns this year and wins it for the first time. That would be cool.

The trick is not minding
The breaks have been going my way so far this year. Definitely not used to it, and I know it won’t last unfortunately.
Try to take it easy on me this week.

Trying Real Hard To Be The Shepherd
Try to take it easy on me this week.
There has never been a need for me to take it easy on anyone. Always lots of hopes and prayers over here.

Interesting. Players with an "Out" designation can be put in a IR slot. I didnt know that.

Sigh! Why cant Football do what baseball does and spread all the games out during the week? That way every day we could watch a game. It seems like a better idea rather than have only one day with a ratings bump.

No. Just no. I don't even like the Thursday games.

Im just rerealizing how screwed I am. Gonna start Jalen Coker over Xavier Legette, and worried I was taking too much of a chance. These are 2 wide recievers for the Carolina Panthers.

The problem is not valuing Murray more than Mahomes. The problem is with giving up extra players to get him in the first place and then completely flipping after a couple of games.
Yeah, I ended up with Devonta Smith for free. That's what people should've been annoyed about rather than the QB swap. Kyler Murray is averaging 20.99 points this season compared to 16.66 for Mahomes. I read somewhere this week that Mahomes hasn't had a top-ten weekly finish since the midpoint of last season. He keeps winning games and Super Bowls, but he hasn't posted great fantasy stats in quite some time. Right now he has more INTs than TDs, which is insane. I'm probably going to need him to have his best game of the season if I'm going to get a win this week considering all the great match-ups you've got and Garrett Wilson's big night on Thursday.

I don't understand all the doom and gloom. Most people who drafted CMC and Kupp are probably buried in the standings, but I gave you a lifeline with that Jordan Mason trade and you managed to get some wins despite not putting up a lot of points. Even if you lose this week, I think you're in good shape going forward. Kupp is back and CMC is expected back next week. Kamara gets Carr back, which should boost his production. You've got a great RB trio, a good QB, a good WR, one of the better K/DEF combos, and Otton has been a top TE since the injuries to Godwin and Evans. Your only weakness is WR2.

Pretty sure that's always been the case and I'd advise people to take advantage of it whenever possible. As soon as one my guys are ruled out, I immediately put them in my IR spot and pick up somebody from the wire. Most of the time I'm just going to turn around and drop that player back to the wire the following week, but you never know when an injury or breakout performance might occur and that guy you added on a whim suddenly has value.

@CaptainSpaulding Thank you for the kind words. Im gonna go with Flacco as my backup though and Russell Wilson is my starter going forward. They say Flacco has the best supporting cast in his entire career with Indianapolis, and I saw what that did for Brady in Tampa. Going with both Russell Wilson and Joe Flacco over Kyler Murray most likely can be one of many bad moves Ive done... or not. Tbph I think all 3 of these QBs are gonna average around the same amount of points per game by years end.

Of course, part of the problem is that every argument for why Mahomes-for-Murray is reasonable doubles as an argument as to why Murray-and-Smith-for-Mahomes was not. It's just a fundamentally indefensible situation by its very nature.

But yes, the problem is getting basically a top 20 wideout for free, particularly in a league like this. And the way in which it happened, the "lottery" I mentioned where half a dozen offers are spammed out not because they maximize return but because they maximize the apparent dopamine hit that comes with having executed on the impulsive decision, is certainly part of the response.

Turns out all you might need is Olave going down mid-game with a concussion.

Second time this season now. Was he wearing the guardian helmet? I’m know he was considering it.
Regardless, that stinks. Hopefully your team can overcome his absence. Daniels is doing his part.

I mean it doesn't matter, I'm just playing spoiler. I'm middle of the road in points but have the highest points against. Terrible H2H luck has sunk the season already.

Trying Real Hard To Be The Shepherd
Before church, “Robinson expected to play”. During church, “marked inactive”. Beginning to think God doesn’t even care about my fantasy team.

@Yoda Dopamine hit? Im assuming the insult is intentional as you always choose your words carefully.
I may make more moves and trades than anyone, at times even more than the league entire, but realize youre second place in both regards. Youre just alot better at it. So to critique me of either is hypocritical. To insult me openly just shows me im starting to wear on you personally. Btw, youve been rewarded the most by my trades over the years and that induced dopamine hits too, im sure lol
How about rather than me leaving the league we do a move limit and trade limit? Yall can determine what those are and Ill abide. This forces me to stop fiddling and trading so much. I cant promise I wont make bad decisions though.
If you'd rather just have me gone then just say it. Better that than tension or ugliness.
