The Dodgers are a better team and should be favored (which they are). But the idea that any team can be expected to reliably smoke another team in a short series is silly.

I mean short compared to the regular season. I think they're all short. I thought the best of nine format in 1903 was short.
Anything before the LCS is hilariously short.

Yes! The White Sox, arguably the worst team ever, took 3 of 4 from Cleveland this year in a May series. If you allowed all the teams to make the playoffs, in the 4 major sports, baseball would have the most last seed vs top seed upsets than any other sport and I don't think it would be close.
