Welcome To Our Nightmare III: Terror, Wooley... and TAKOMA!

Oh. It sounds like something that's intentionally really horrible. Do I wanna watch serial rapists? I do not.
It is violent and the main antagonist is really gross and evil, but the sexual violence is almost all implied and more of the threat that drives the action. (In fact, I want to say that there isn't even any nudity in this movie? I think we briefly see a woman in a bra?)

The premise is that a woman escapes two men who have kidnapped her and the whole film is them pursuing her through the woods as they all go increasingly insane. It starts out like any of that particular subgenre (woman escaping madman in the forest) and then gets increasingly bonkers.

It actually has a lot in common with A Wounded Fawn now that I think about it.

My entire schedule has shifted thanks to my inability to stay awake after dinner, which means the coveted Halloween Night time slot has fallen to....House By The Cemetery!

Sorry, Woolz!

Sorry, Woolz!
My condolences.
Except that Dr. Freudstein is definitely cool enough to make the movie still worth watching.

Victim of The Night
Rob Bottin/Joe Dante versus Rick Baker/John Landis, five months apart:

Victim of The Night
I have four good movies left to review so this is proabably gonna bleed onto All Saints Day as usual. Well, I guess it has to for the last two. I'll try to get at least one of the other two done tomorrow.

Happy Halloween, everybody.

I kicked things off by rocking the Castlevania: Symphony of the Night soundtrack. More Konami soundtracks like Silent Hill may follow.

Victim of The Night
I love the one who just has a vulture sitting on her shoulder. That's my kinda ghoul.
